it seems to have a blank screen after I install new Ram, the screen remains blank on boot up. I run the "memtest86+" memory test program, some memories have enough errors that I cannot reliably use them. The system keeps not booting with exactly similar issues (black screen, fan on, short beep after power-on, green LED on).I also tried to swap the memory DIMMs into the memory sockets. If you are POSITIVE that the old Ram is DDR2, and you are POSITIVE that your system worked fine with it, then you must be mistaken about the motherboard model number. You can update your BIOS from here, in the downloads choose DOS then BIOS and download the latest BIOS and run it once you get the older memory installed again.
