I will try reinstalling my motherboard drivers and get back to you. But in newer graphics cards, cards had their own processor and could render themselves - rather than just being told "put this pixel here", they would construct a 3D scene themselves. so for now I have to make it work. I am intrigued by ATI's new offering, but I could never justify buying one.

I had it keep coming up before and tried just installing the display drivers not the CCC and then running ATI Tray Tools which has more control than the CCC anyway.
