Hard Disk Not Detected In Bios

Other USB devices like flash drives did connect to this laptop. My hard drive works on other computers and has worked on my laptop in the past but has done this a few times. I booted from win 7 DVD to reinstall win but my hard drive is not listed in the list. I just needed to change the letter path on my external ssd after I reformatted it like 3 times for the computer to recognize it again.

I've now got 2 external drives (from different companies, different ages etc) that are not even seen by windoze. After a 20-second rescan, my externals and my Hot-Swap Deck always appear. I first deleted the volume and formatted it. It does show up in disk management as drive 1 but shows no information on space, partitions, format or allocations it just has drive 1 and then an empty grey box

My computer was working fine for like 2 years until Sunday. Didnt work at first cause i didnt do a deep scan.
