Computer Stopped Recognizing My External Harddrive


this worked. It works fine on other laptops and pc. I was worried when it wasn't detected cause in the past, I read that it was corrupted paths that lead me to do a tiresome copy-paste mode in a linux OS. So the problem seems to be between the HP laptop and the EHD, something seems to have gone wrong.

because I've replaced the motherboard with a more healthy one but still second-hand (because of SD RAMs and ...). Exactly what I needed. I'm guessing this is part of the problem. I must press W+R: devmgmt.msc and uninstall all USB slot, except keyboards and mouse.
