Hard Disk Partition Wont Stay Put.


Any suggestions anyone. I'm pretty confused, and pissed off at seagate for such a sh*ty drive. This seems to free up the bearings long enough to copy data off of the hard drive. As i didn't know what the issue was i tried the freezer but this didn't work. Just as though I'd turned it on for the first time. If it is a master boot record problem, sometimes running Fdisk/mbr will correct the problem. I'm not exactly sure why this works but I'm guessing it has something to do with the heads retracting because of the cold temperature. But the screen still not showed anything. Bad. I was able to get into a routine of a few hours in the freezer to about 30 minutes of usage until I got almost all of my 300gb of files
