Tried everything that was suggested to no avail and finally had a comcast tech come out. Please let us know how the connection compares with this router. When I had cable internet added they put a 3-way in the den and connected the TV and the cable modem to it. I don't use the Xbox so I don't know if there are updates available for it that would possibly help.
