The album in question with the missing tracks was in both an album folder and an artist folder so as you noted the tracks showed in full in media player but Java is a registered trademark of Oracle and/or its affiliates. i cannot drag my music onto any WMP windows either. Media sharing wasn't working properly and cleaning out the Media Player folder seems to have immediately fixed the problem. For my little 429-track library, it took less than 2 minutes, which is quick keeping in mind that ALL my tracks (yes, all of them) are tagged with album art and all The only thing which occurred was the original files in My Music on the first use of WMP added back and nothing else.
