When you state that writing to your hard drive results in no sync problems, do you mean that you are exporting an MPEG-2 file as opposed to writing a DVD structure If it was Classic, the upgrade to Platinum is only $60. I click on the upgrade, and it takes me back to a website that tries to sell me the upgrade and the entire program.
