Laptop Speakers Stop Working After Headphones Removed


Someone told me to fix the audio- something. This worked!! Once reported, our moderators will be notified and the post will be reviewed. mommagift January 25, 2010 | my laptop speakers only work when I plug in my headphones and then it can be heard on my headphones and speakers at the same time.

I took Jenny's advice (#136) but because I have a Mac, went to System Preferences, clicked on Sound and discovered that somehow the Logitech speakers had turned off. To resolve you can blow into the jack's openings or plug/unplug the jack in and out really fast. Its always the stupid stuff that fixes these problems. I can't find an option anywhere for headphone settings. YAYY!
