Please Help Me Find Program That Goes With My Desktop Shortcut

September 2, 2010 kwong I like to say thank you. Yes, it’s doubly stupid to bury it in a submenu. Checking email is fun to teach someone who has never really done it. I've got the two dozen program shortcuts that I use every day or at least weekly, a handful of web page links that I want to explore further, and that's it.

Sounds like you're looking at the "General" tab under the shortcut properties. How do I restore when these options are not available. After the reboot, i found out quite a number of applications/softwares being corrupted such as microsoft excel/word starter, tune up utility, and few others.

I can see the icons on the taskbar but not my desktop.

Some people like this, and others don't, but I wouldn't say this would be for everyone. Once you close or minimize all the open windows, your desktop appears. The problem with saving downloads to your desktop is that it is harder to save the download to your backup. Thanks for reading and for your support.
