And i still think that that Corsairs bad PSUs are still a step higher than the lowend Thermaltakes, but thats just my personal opinion. It's a horrible guide filled with subjective opinions. Having a list of PSU brands to avoid, and ones to prefer is a good way to cut down an initial list into something more manageable. I moved to Silverstone after I had a Corsair fail on me and it's still going strong 5 years later. Some only needed iRacing specifically and since the game can only use 2 cores so I normally went with a G3258 in the past to keep overall rig TDP down, and re-branded GPUs are clearly the same, by your logic. beQuiet pretty much OWNS the German market.

CoolerMaster I've had a vague impression for a while that CoolerMaster is supposed to be good. Corsairs Budget units where just not good. if it's loud you know it's working. I've edited it in though.

Other than the AX Series, Seasonic hasn't made a PSU for Corsair for over five years. If it's a cheap unit, it's probably better than a lot of the other cheap crap, but it still won't be anything special.

They are basically in,a tier of their own. A big silent 200mm fan running at 700-800 rpm thats "quit" is gonna move a lot more air then a 120mm fan running at 1300rpm. Always read competent reviews of an individual product before making a purchasing decision. What is the problem with them, and should I look af replacing mine?
