its not freezing up anymore. I started to take my laptop back for a return. Malware and anti-virus scans all came up clean as well. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this and if you know any fixes.

I went into my BIOS and told it to change all my settings to my default values, and that did the trick. ummm, tried disabling the Startup in msConfig and again, no difference. You may also... I like knowing if I need to get into safe mode on my pc the f8 key will work...
