Add/Remove Not Working


I've tried Start/Run regsvr32 appwiz.cpl but other than the hourglass flashing a few times next to the cursor, it has no effect. I'm running Windows XP. There is a program that you can download to help you fix Norton so you can uninstall it. So, I uninstalled the server version, reinstalled the client version, and then when I went into Add/Remove programs, everything was whacked. ***This is where the real problem begins***** When I go I feel it may be a registry issue, something gets deleted when using a reg cleaner and people don't know it. Unfortunately, though, too many people uninstall a program using the wrong ways, which can lead to poor performance and problems on the computer.
