I'm about to order a seperate pci usb card since I see no other solution. This error message pops up sporatically for no apparent reason. But this "Moving Star" brand 2.0 external case with a 80GB 2.5 inch Seagate drive is recognized fine ? It had 128MB of RAM (I upgraded it) and originally had a 4.3GB Quantum Bigfoot, but I upgraded it to an 80GB at some point.
