CD Drives Vanished From Win 98 System


The motor pulls the tray in and out and the "Disk In" green light works.I have a yellow ! What can I do to solve this problem? solved How don't appear dell's CD drive icon in this PC? I used build 5584 as I am on Leopard, so it wouldn't be wise to use an older build. It has to do with hooks they put in for the burner software that sometimes cause the drive to disappear. It's not a good file manager.
