I didn't install any new updates in last days except Windows Defender definitions. 45 minutes and still checking for updates. The next day, a notification soon cameup in task tray that Updates were avaialbe; so downloading of the updates took more than about 3 or 4 hours. solution 2 helped me. Solution 2 worked for me! look at this site
