you Rock! The reason of that being you either have a windows xp setup cd in or you are pushing the wrong button. It turned outt he USB controller was not booting properly. Continue ending process for each task that is associated with the lock up.

the ion update from nvidia for my card would lock my machine right up. I'm not sure if I should try this or not.. This is a nice way to do it but I've tried everything.. Continue uninstalling software in this manner until you have removed all of the software associated with the lock-ups. Big mistake since now I can no longer access Tak Manager either. I recently had this problem and it worked for me.
